Nathan Shaw is a Texas-born Coloradan who found his passion in a dumpster. After practicing professionally for four years in geology, his field of study, Nathan found his calling elsewhere. Learning he could eat like a king on what someone else threw away, he realized this social-environmental issue had a lot more implications than his own dinner. After turning his garage, and his friends’ garages, into a thriving underground grocery store, he decided to take his plan to the next level, teaming up with a non-profit with the potential to transform our most universal daily habit. When Nathan isn’t finding, giving or making food for his friends, you can find him on a mountain, in a garden, or trapezing downtown on his bike.
